No man is an island, but sometimes…
Milos was born in Yugoslavia, a nation that used to exist in the Balkans, about 600 miles away from Milos, the Greek island. By the time he was eight, civil war had broken out. Somehow his mother convinced the officials at the airport that they were "only going on vacation," and they escaped to the U.S. with one suitcase in-hand.
After graduating from college, Milos was a successful EMT, paralegal, rodeo clown, and repo man (3 truths, 1 lie). He eventually decided to get paid for his ideas and words, so he went back to school, and became a copywriter.
Milos believes that consumers are smart, ad-aware folks, whose attention needs to be earned. He’s been known to say: “You can’t engage with your audience without a good amount of respect and empathy.”
A few years ago, Milos moved from NYC to Los Angeles. He enjoys working on his motorcycle, traveling, reading, science podcasts, living, laughing, and loving. His current passenger rating on Uber is 4.91 stars.
